Photo Guidelines

Here at Photo Gifts Direct we receive a lot of photos for printing that are not suitable for the process of printing onto a gift.  By following these short guidelines you will hopefully avoid any delays and possible disapointment with your gift order.

* Do not re-size your image, only send the original. 

* If you send an image by mail and not via our website make sure that your mail programme does not auto resize the image to make it smaller for emailing.

* Do not use a mobile phone image as these are almost certainly of too poor a quality. 

The table below gives you an indication of the image quality we need for each type of gift.

* Images with a trademark or copyright

* Photos obviously downloaded from the Internet, usually of a celebrity

* Mobile phone images - just not worth it
